Discussing this question will be our distinguished speakers who have lived and worked within the sciences and have gained notoriety for their excellence and achievement in the study of Physics, Astronomy, and Chemistry.
An Interactive Conversation on Work, Achievement, and Purpose
Dr. Andra Gillespie (Emory University) will moderate a discussion between Justin Giboney (AND Campaign) and Dr. Alexis Wells-Oghoghomeh (Vanderbilt University) on the role religion, history, and political institutions play in racial justice in America.
The forum will also feature a student panel from Emory and Vanderbilt.
The Vanderbilt Synesis began in the fall of 2015 when a group of students felt called to bring Christian thought to Vanderbilt’s campus, just as member journals of the Augustine Collective have done at other colleges and universities.
